 Indapur: - To draw the attention of the government to the issue of Talathi government employees not living in the headquarters.  The statement of Nitin (Dada) Arde, President Shivshahi Shetkari Sanghatana Maharashtra Rajya on 11/01/2022 regarding the symbolic one day fast on 26th January 2022 was received at the Tehsildar's office and in this statement on 26/01/2022  It is mentioned that he is fasting symbolically for the day.  However, Tehsildar Shrikant Patil informed that an order has been issued by him to refrain from going on a one-day symbolic fast on 26/1/2022 and to ensure that law and order is not violated. Speaking on the occasion, Arde said,  The following guidelines have been issued regarding the presence of talathis in the office to make the services available to the public in a timely manner.  1.  Talathi employees should put up notice boards in the office premises regarding their planned visits / meetings.  2.  Talathis should put up notice boards in the office premises regarding the duties / responsibilities of Talathis.  3.  Talathas should display their telephone / mobile number in the office premises in such a way that it should be prominently displayed, and also the name and mobile number of the concerned Board Officer and Deputy Tehsildar should be shown.  4.  Talathi / Mandal officers who have been provided accommodation by the government at the place of punishment, should stay in that residence.  5.  Information about the service matters mentioned under the Service Guarantee Act (various types of transcripts, duration etc.) should be posted in the office premises.  6.  Talathi staff should disclose the details of the visit to the concerned agricultural land while inspecting the agricultural land.  7.  Private persons should not be kept in the Talathi office for office work.  8.  Nitin Arde welcomed the decision as a written order was issued by the Tehsildar (Shrikant Patil) Tehsildar, Indapur.
